Typical support rail kits require two people to install the chassis support rails, one person on each end of the rack. One person to install screws into the rail at one end. The other person to hold the rail up and to keep it relatively level, etc. while the process continues.

With these rack mount support rails, a single person or installer attaches the short rear rail bracket to the rear RETMA rail of the rack. Then the front bracket, which is longer and heavier, has a feature that simply drops over and hooks onto the rear bracket giving the installer a third hand while they fasten the front bracket into place. Add the center fasteners and then repeat for the other side.
