Electronic Enclosures, Inc. has prepared a multitude of already engineered adaptable rack mount enclosures. These are intended for production systems. There are other companies that have prefabricated chassis on the shelf, ready for you to cut and drill modifications for breadboarding. That’s not our forte.

Depending upon your requirements, we may select one of our prepared IP rack mount chassis designs from which to begin engineering your next system enclosure. Each approach is available in 1U or more and can be stretched to whatever dimensions are needed. If you need external access to drives, or FRU electronic modules, or hot-swap PSUs or fans, or some combination thereof, it’s likely we already have a good place to start. We convert the selected design into a system chassis specific to your requirements. Mounting your electronics, add a display, power supplies, fans, etc., incorporating our tool-less slide rails whatever your requirements; simple or complex. The possibilities are unlimited.

In the process of adapting one of our designs, we’ll work with you on thermal properties and cooling, we’ll consider EMC and Safety, integration of your electronics, aesthetics, and field installation. We’ll work with your board designer to ensure that front and/or rear panel I/O allows for a robust panel and that port IDs, logos, and model numbers have adequate space without colliding AND that it looks fabulous! We generate the artwork for overlay and silk-screen. In addition to designing and manufacturing your rack mount system enclosure, we also do the same for all types of FRUs. In essence, you produce the advanced high-tech electronics and software and we’ll produce the perfect rack mount enclosure to bring your next product to market.
